Description
One paddle. Two balls. Their first real sport.
Pickleball is the easiest racquet sport to start: a light paddle, a slow plastic ball, and a game that's fun from the very first hit. This set gives your child their own paddle in a print they'll actually want to carry — Dino, Panda, Play Fearless or Keep Calm & Dink — plus two balls, so practice can start the day it arrives.
How the game grows with your child
- First tapsBouncing the ball on the paddle and counting how many in a row. Learning to watch the ball all the way in.
- Keeping a rallyHitting against a wall or back and forth with a parent. The slow ball gives little players time to react.
- Real gamesUnderhand serves, keeping score, and matches across a net, a rope or a chalk line on the driveway.
- Family doublesAdd a second paddle and it's a proper match — kids versus grown-ups, siblings versus everyone.
Why pickleball for kids
The serve is underhand, the court is small and the ball moves slowly, so kids get real rallies within minutes instead of spending weeks chasing missed shots. That early success is what keeps them coming back to play.
What the play actually builds
Hand-eye coordination. Timing and reaction speed. Footwork and balance on the move. And the quieter skills: focus, losing a point and trying again, taking turns and playing fair.

Care
Built for everyday rallies. A little care keeps the print bright.
- Wipe the paddle with a dry or lightly damp cloth after play
- Don't leave it out in the rain or in direct sun — heat and water fade the print
- Avoid scraping the paddle edge on the ground or hard walls
- Rinse dusty balls with water and let them dry before storing
- Store the paddle flat in a cool, dry spot

Questions, Answered
Everything parents usually ask us before their first order.
What age is this suitable for?
From 6 months right through to 5 years and beyond. Babies start by crawling over and patting the stones, new walkers use them for first balance practice, and older children build their own obstacle courses. It's one of the few toys that doesn't get outgrown in a season.
Is it safe for young children?
Yes. Every stone has a non-slip textured top and a wide, stable base, with rounded edges and no sharp corners or pinch points. Finishes are non-toxic and each batch is checked before it ships.
As with any climbing or balance play, we'd suggest supervising children under two.
What skills does it help build?
Balance, core strength and gross motor coordination, plus spatial awareness — judging the distance to the next stone before committing to a step.
The quieter benefits matter just as much: planning a route, taking turns with siblings, and getting back up after a wobble.
Can we use it outdoors?
Yes — the non-slip surface works on grass, tile and wooden flooring alike. Bring the stones in and let them air-dry fully afterwards rather than leaving them out overnight.
How do I clean and maintain it?
Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry fully before stacking away. Skip bleach and solvents — they dull the surface texture over time.
